Bio

Don began working professionally in the early 1990's as an inker and designer for Moordam Comics. He also has worked for such companies as Phantom Fireworks as a packaging designer and co-owner of a newspaper with a circulation of over 75,000! Creating his artwork using pointillism, (which consists of creating art with tiny dots instead of lines or shading), Don spends many hours on each piece knowing that it enhances the artwork, especially when colored with markers or watercolor. Don has his artwork in private collections in over 7 countries worldwide. He also has his art in the private collections of such celebrities as Ben Chapman (The Creature From the Black Lagoon) and Michonne Bourriague (Aurra Sing from Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace) and the Late Phil Brown (Uncle Owen form Star Wars: A New Hope).

Don has begun to create his pieces at sketch card size. Upcoming projects include CSI: Miami, Hammer Horror, Dr. Who Big Screen, and The Harryhausen Collection all for Strictly Ink.
